Happy Monday, So Good readers! Just your friendly neighborhood Junk Food Guy here.  Turkey Day is just a few days away, but that doesn’t mean that post-Thanksgiving holiday items aren’t in full swing. After Pringles announced a while back that they’d be releasing White Chocolate Peppermint Pringles for the holidays, I have been searching high and low for these suckers. Um, Pringles that taste like candy canes? I HAVE to taste this abomination. So I searched grocery stores. Gas stations. Walmarts. Targets.  And nothing!  NOTHING!!!!! The timing of Superstorm Sandy didn’t help, as the panicky people in my region cleared the shelves of every bottle of water, loaf of bread, and container of junk food at the time of the announcement. “Hey, the power’s gonna be out…that means I’m allowed to eat four bags of Doritos, I think.”

Undaunted, I headed even farther out of town this weekend to look for this elusive item. And then, at a Target far, far away, I spotted them:

Limited Edition White Chocolate Peppermint Pringles! In all their glory…and by that I mean hastily stacked on the top shelf of a random aisle where wrapping paper and gingerbread house kits were being sold.  Thanks for making it easy, Target.

The whole can of these Limited Edition White Chocolate Peppermint Pringles is designed to look sort of like …what, a stocking? A chimney? There’s some snowy ridge at one point with candy canes sticking out? Peppermint psychedelic tower of fun? Why do I feel like I’m on a boat with Willy Wonka headed down a tunnel?
